All I Want for May Day is My Two Front Teeth...

Our sweet Addison lost her TWO FRONT TEETH! For some reason this is hitting me hard! How is she growing up this fast? I want to freeze her! I can't believe she is already 6 years old. What a love!
We went to the park tonight for a friend's birthday and the kids had so much fun!
I had to share Addie's new smile!

All of the kids on one swing set.... SO FUN!

Random Thoughts By Tracie

So, I broke my foot on April Fool's Day. Hmmm.... Why is it bad to break your foot on April Fool's? Because people don't believe you. Yep, my husband didn't even believe me. Why, you ask... Well, I did play two pranks on him earlier in the day. I am thinking "girl who cries wolf". Well, I was running out to flag down a friend that was coming over and BOOM, tripped and broke my foot. I cried! YES, I DID.

Went to the Doctor yesterday and found out this blue thing will be on my leg for the next 6 weeks. I was told to stay off of it for 2 weeks and use crutches when getting up and moving around (CRUTCHES HURT!) and then I can begin to put pressure on it in 2 weeks.

I am so thankful for a friend named Emily Rodgers who took a wedding for me on Saturday so that I could stay home and prop my foot up. She did an AMAZING JOB. You can check her pictures out on my website... go to the website and click on the blog. www.anceletphotography.com.

We have been so busy over here at the Ancelet household. Ted's working full time at the church again. He was working with a non for profit for 10 months part time and working at the church part time. After staff changes, he is back on staff full time. We've had a lot of changes at our church this past year and would appreciate your prayers as we go through this time of transition. I am thankful for the men that have surrounded Ted and Greg (the worship arts pastor) in helping them through this transition. It's been hard but it's been good because it has strengthened our dependence on Christ!

I am homeschooling the kids full time right now and barely surviving. haha... We are looking at going back to CFC next year. I am so thankful. We started there this year but I felt Avery was struggling in reading and so I wanted to focus on that with her. So we all came home and have really been working on her reading skills and I have also been working with the other two as well. Avery has had some tutoring and has completed 100 phonic lessons and I have seen such an improvement not only in her reading, but in her confidence as well. Aidan is taking off in his learning! It's like a light went off and he's been excelling at all of his subjects. Addie has been learning the basics and we are praying about whether she will do kindergarten next year (again) or go on to first grade.

Ted's parents were here this past weekend. It was so good to spend time with them and when they left, we had 3 of our 4 children in FULL OUT TEARS! So sad!!! They loved their time with their grandparents. We enjoyed our visit so much and are so appreciative of the LONG HOURS spent in the car to come see us. Thanks for the gifts as well!!!
So glad they were here to help with the kids while I spent time in the ER for my foot too!
Thanks Mawmaw and Pawpaw... WE LOVE YOU!

My photography business has grown. I am having a logo designed right now, just finished building a website, am now booking weddings... it's crazy. I am SO THANKFUL for the Lord's provision for our family in this gift! It has really helped...
I wrecked our car three times in one week (see above for the photography job helping to meet our needs!). Just small bumps and bruises with the van and actually, none of which had to be claimed on insurance but some damage done to the van for sure!

We just recently found out that we will be going on vacation this summer! WE ARE THRILLED! We had someone trade out with us. Photography for a week in a condo in Myrtle Beach. How cool is that? and some friends are coming with us (it's their family that has the condo).

Our dear friends, the Mazons are moving back to Texas. They are who we moved here to plant the church with. We are very sad to see them go. very sad. They will be moving the first of June.

Well, I am signing off... Just wanted to journal a few things going on in our lives!
We trust not in horses or chariots... but we trust in the NAME OF THE LORD OUR GOD!

He has RISEN INDEED!

Had a sweet day today at church...
I didn't get a picture of our family together - AND I didn't get a picture of Aidan. BUT... I took a ton of picture tonight at the park, so maybe I'll get some fun ones up soon!

Easter Egg Hunt...

Our Children's ministry recently stuffed 3,000 easter eggs for a HUGE easter egg hunt for the homeless in downtown. The hunt was today... we weren't able to attend because of my broken foot :-(
